Due to growth, expansion, and new client relationships, Rockfield have a need for a Senior Mechanical Engineer with Bulk Materials Handling expertise. This is a newly created role, and we are looking for someone who resides in Perth. The skills and experience required include:
- Degree-qualified Mechanical Engineer with 8+ years’ experience
- Experience in design projects with bulk handling capabilities
- Chute and debottlenecking design (DEM) experience is preferable.
- Bulk handling plant (balance machines, wagon unloaders) design (FEA, fatigue) experience preferable
- Any experience with asset owners would be beneficial, e.g., secondments
- Team leader experience
- Project management and client facing
- Exposure to site work

- Degree-qualified Structural or Civil Engineer with 8+ years’ experience
- Experience working in a heavy industry in an Owner’s environment and/or as a consultant, would be considered advantageous.
- Fundamental structural knowledge and understanding of structural behaviours and failure mechanism.
- Experience with asset owners would be beneficial, e.g., secondments.
- Team leader experience
- Project management and client facing with proven experience with structural design documentation.
- Exposure to site work
